Project:
This project investigates how to design for the imaginative and creative play of building a fort. To build a fort is to give form to ones imagination, an imagination stimulated by surroundings, the tactility and possibilities of materials. Fort building is both a adult-free creation of a temporary space for play, and a creative process.
The fort assembly kit is a rule-free, consisting of tactile elements that invites to play. The assembly kit is a kick starter for the imagination, consisting of materials with undefined possibilities for construction and play, to be used anywhere in need of a playground.
